MLA Summer 2026: 18 Centres, 1,500 Staff Members, One Team

MLA’s Summer Season Gets Underway Across International Study Abroad Programmes

As summer programmes begin across England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, the United States and Canada, MLA officially enters the operational phase of Summer 2026.

Behind every successful study abroad experience lies an enormous amount of preparation, coordination and training involving hundreds of professionals across the organisation.

This year, more than 1,500 staff members will work across 18 MLA centres throughout Europe and North America, helping to deliver safe, engaging and transformative educational experiences for thousands of international students.

Preparation: The Real Beginning of a Study Abroad Programme

For many families, a study abroad programme begins when a student departs for their destination. For MLA, however, the journey starts much earlier.

In the weeks leading up to student arrivals, Centre Directors, Activity Managers, teachers, Welfare Teams and support staff come together for training sessions, operational planning and strategic alignment.

This preparation period is one of the most important moments of the year, ensuring that all centres share the same procedures, quality standards and objectives before welcoming students from around the world.

An Operating Model That Sets MLA Apart

One of the key factors that distinguishes MLA within the international education sector is its operating model.

All 18 summer centres are managed directly by MLA through an integrated structure that includes staff recruitment, training, centre management, student welfare and programme delivery.

This approach enables MLA to maintain consistently high standards, improve operational efficiency and deliver a seamless experience across every destination.

Direct management also allows the organisation to respond quickly to the needs of students, families and international partners while keeping quality at the heart of every decision.

The People Behind Every International Experience

As the summer season begins, Massimo Tardi, CEO of MLA, has recognised the vital role played by the people who make every programme possible.

The growth of the organisation and the successful management of 18 centres across six countries are made possible by professionals who dedicate their expertise, commitment and energy to supporting students throughout their journey.

From centre leadership and academic teams to welfare staff, activity leaders and operational support teams, every role contributes to creating a safe, inspiring and rewarding environment where students can thrive.

Looking Ahead to Another Successful Summer

Over the coming weeks, thousands of students from around the world will arrive at MLA centres to embark on an experience shaped by learning, personal growth, cultural discovery and international friendships.

Ready to welcome them are 18 centres, 1,500 staff members and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional international education programmes built on people, quality and operational excellence.
