We are committed to the welfare and safeguarding of young people. All students should expect to feel safe within all areas of the summer program. The primary concern at all times must be the interests and safety of each student and the organization takes all reasonable steps to protect them from harm, discrimination or degrading treatment and to uphold their rights in order to create and maintain a safe and suitable summer school environment.

What we provide
– A Welfare Manager who is specifically responsible for the pastoral care of each student. This friendly, helpful, supportive individual is based in the center office and is always pleased to help you.
– Medical staff on site.
– Links with local hospitals and other emergency services.
– Students have constant access to a responsible member of staff at all times day or night with our 24hr emergency contact number.
– Students are issued a personal ID card.
– Key members of staff have received specialized child protection training and all members have completed criminal background checks to confirm their ability to work with minors.

 

Arrival in the country
– All students are met on arrival at the airport and are taken back to the airport by our staff (for all students who have requested transfer services).
– An adult must accompany all students under the age of 18.
– A residential accommodation, including full board, is provided to all students; a hot or packed meal will be provided upon arrival.

 

During your stay
– Students are obligated to have, on their person at all times, an ID card; the carrying of the student ID card is especially important when out on an excursion.
– Students under 18 are not permitted to leave the center unaccompanied at any time.
– All students under the age of 18 should be aware that it is compulsory to attend all lessons and activities.
– Supervision of classrooms and other areas of the school accessible to students, at all times. Staff is easily accessible and can be found throughout the day.
– Night Guardian staff to supervise the center and accommodation during the night.

 

Insurance for travel and medical
– It is essential that all students travelling abroad must have adequate Travel Insurance in case of medical or other emergency.

 

Medical conditions
– Students must inform us in advance about any prescribed medication in order to provide proper care.
– Special medical attention under the care of a doctor will provide any first aid and, if necessary, prescribe medical treatments.
– Students who need special dietary requirements must notify in advance.
