Two half-day excursions by private bus and support of MLA local staff:

• Perugia: a captivating city of art renowned worldwide for its chocolate, welcomes visitors with a historic center rich in charm and centuries-old heritage. The tour begins at the Fontana Maggiore, a masterpiece of medieval art and one of the city’s most beloved symbols, famous for its elegant sculpted panels that narrate stories and allegories. From here, strolling along cobblestone streets and past historic palaces, you will reach the imposing Etruscan Arch, the largest and most monumental of the ancient gateways to the old city—a remarkable testament to Etruscan Perugia and its glorious past.
• The Marmore Waterfall: plunging 165 meters, it is one of the tallest in Europe. This extraordinary feat of Roman engineering was designed to regulate the flow of the Velino River, whose waters once caused frequent floods and transformed vast areas into swampland. Today, visitors are enchanted not only by the majestic power of the falls but also by the lush vegetation that thrives along the course of the cascading waters.
