A journey that starts before the summer!
Up to 8 months of FREE online pre-departure language courses with live teachers. Designed to strengthen conversation skills and fluency, preparing students for their stay abroad.
Students take the online adaptative placement test before departure. Once they arrive at their destination, they start learning right away. The overall test result reflects each student’s English proficiency and is used for class placement. In addition, our portal allows students to upload their EFL certificates to confirm their level before departure.
Our TASKtime eBooks have been developed according to young learners’ areas of interest, common topics available in language teaching and our commitment to environmental sustainability through our “bring your own device” programme. MLA language courses follow an integrated language skills syllabus with specific outcomes for each level. Teachers follow an interactive method using materials designed and implemented by MLA to make learning easier and lessons more interesting, engaging, and enjoyable.
At the end of the course, students will receive a customised Student Portfolio with all the information from their MLA course. This report includes a company background, an attendance summary, daily record of work including day by day topics, tasks completed and material used. They will also receive a comprehensive End of Course Report with feedback on detailed evaluation on four critical areas of English learning. We also include links and suggestions for the student to continue their learning journey at home.
Each student will receive a personalised certificate with the level achieved in line with CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), ranging from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C1). Students will receive both a hard copy at the centre, and an electronic certificate. These certificates bare the logos of our regional accreditations signalling the highest quality standards of our MLA tuition programme.
Even before departure, students can take part in up to 8 months of completely free online language courses, held live by qualified teachers. It's a programme designed to support them step by step throughout the months leading up to their departure: the lessons focus on strengthening their ability to hold a conversation, easing any hesitation when speaking, and gradually building greater fluency, so that they arrive at their stay abroad feeling confident and fully equipped to settle into their new environment right away.
